Joey Santana Born in the Bronx, NY March, 27. an Aries. Joey's love for music started at the age of ten, his parents sang in the church choir and inspired Joey to sing. His mother also took him to music school . There he learned how to play the paino and get a good ear for music. She encouraged him by letting him play the piano in church, in front of an audience. |
| Ever since then his love for music grew to a
point where he knew that's what he wanted to do. He had been with several singing groups learning and adapting to the sound of
music. But things really started happening when he went as a solo artist. He had the
opportunity to work with several Producers in the Freestyle industry such as Robert
Marcial (Come Get My Love) T.K. A. Danny and Victor Vargas (WEPA MAN), and Victor Franco.
During stage performances from 1989-1992 Joey opened for a variety of Freestyle Artist's such as Judy Torres, Johnny O, Cynthia, George Lamond, Soave just to mention a few. After years of performing, Joey knew it was time to venture towards a record deal. In 1998 Joey met Mercy Lee the model of EL SHOW DE FREDDY LOPEZ . Mercy Lee knew Joey had the potential and talent and introduced Joey to Freddy Lopez (Ceo/president) of E.L.I. RECORDS who was amazed at Joey's powerful voice. Joey has since become a recording artist for E.L.I.RECORDS. "You Are The One For Me" was written By Miguel A. Caldero for Double Dose Productions and Joey. His single, signed to E.L.I.
